Sarawak Immersion Trip.
Day 1: Thursday, 6 June 2008.

Started the day when I could feel butterflies in my stomach. Was sent by hubby to school and good to know what happen on the last three days(according to previous post). Mum & Mawi came at airport and it was a surprising one for me.
Got our flight and i sat beside Bella together with Ahmeera. Can say that we were the one making alot of noise plus sporting of all in the aeroplane.

We then went to this museum where real animals that already dead are kept down there. It was kinda weird you know. And most of the animals are like characters in Narnia. LOL. Check in to our hotel, Harbour View and then had dinner but we had our lunch already too larh. Was a slacking day actually.

Day 2: Friday, 7 June 2008.

Check out hotel. We need to go to Bako National Park. A one night sleep down there. It's wildlife actually, the wild animals home. So, that means, wherever you walk, there'll be pigs and monkeys around walking pass by you. Let's just say a short one. We get to hike the mountain, was not really tall one compared to what I hiked before at Karimun. We learn new stuffs, such as Mangrove Trees. Saw pitcher plant and proboscis monkey.

After dinner, we had a little night walk trail in the jungle. Was damn cool you know! In the dark with just torch lights, and who knows there a pig beside you! But that didn't happen actually. We stop and switch off our torch lights. You actually can see glowing mushrooms! Then we went near the river and we could see fire flies! Cool or what?
We girls don't want to bathe as the toilet was damn creepy. They say the water they use is from the Gunung and that means fresh, but the colour of the water was yellow! Gawddd. Bella, Ahmeera, Dianna and Shak sanggup bought around 2 or 4 1.5l water bottle to bathe. Some girls did bathe actually but not me! I'm fine without bathing cause I'm used to it. HAHA. We then lepak at the balcony on our hostel. There was Bella, Ahmeera, Dianna, Shak, Amira, Syasya and me. Aper lagi, gossip ah! From one topic to another to another and then till we went into a room and continue gossiping again plus even sharing some probs. We ALL slept together on one room though they are not our room mates. Actually, before gg back into the room, we actually saw two babi hutan. And I still remembered the way the pig stares at me.

Day 3: Saturday, 8 June 2008.

Leaving the Bako National Park. Before that, we are needed to pay RM8 because we are gg to view the sea stack.
And yeah, next stop. The Anna Rais Longhouse Visit. The floor is made of bamboo and this longhouse is the Bidayuh people way of living.

Day 4: Sunday, 9 June 2008.

We went to Sarawak Cultural Village. We learn about different types of Sarawak people. There are different type of people like Orang Bidayuh, Iban, Melanau and more. We caught a performance and it was hell great! Some of us even went up the stage to join them dancing, so did I!

Day 5: Monday, 10 June 2008.

Our first day in Lodge School. My buddy name was Stephanie Song. She was very friendly and so does the rest. The part we don't understand is that the way they learn is by using Bahasa Malaysia. Imagine learning geography using Malay language? Kinda hard you know. After lunch, went to Batik arts. The artwork looks very creative. At night, we planned to camwhore. So, put on eyeliner, mascara and stuffs. But then we wondered why the guys room beside us were soo quite. Went into their room by the room to room door. The all are having ghost stories. We decided to join them but in the end, they guys were also scared!

Day 6: Tuesday, 11 June 2008.

Second day in Lodge School. It's getting more fun being with them. After lunch, we went to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre. Get to see Orang Utan and some others animals like the crocodiles. It was mating season. :D

Day 7: Wednesday, 12 June 2008.

Woke up early to sneak out and went to Bella's room. We packed our bag and siap down there. Last day in Lodge School. Was kinda sad to leave Kuching. Serious, most people feels like that. We had our Bollywood performance and it went great as planned. As I reached in Singapore, I called hubby first. Get to know that he'll be coming with my eldest sis and mum. What a surprise! Mum sent us to cwp and had lunch at banquet.

That's all for the trip. Too much to say for a one week trip. You guys can even check out the www.evgiansinsarawak08.blogspot.com
